Screen Printing has come a long way in the past 50 years. Most people still refer to the process as silk screening. In fact, we haven't used silk in 30 years. We now use special synthetics woven especially for Screen Printing.This has allowed us to print much finer dots and maintain pinpoint registration from one color to another, producing much higher quality prints at prices that rival other printing methods.
We are often asked if we can match PMS colors. The answer is yes. As with other forms of printing we must print on a white background to achieve this.
Because Screen Printing uses many different types of inks and the ink laydown is much thicker than other methods. Screen Printing is the only method that can achieve images
that last many years, indoors or out.
Last but not least, we can print on almost anything. Material thickness and rigidity make little or no difference, and the inks available will adhere to almost any surface. With the advent of UV curable inks drying time is instantaneous. This allows us to print and stack much faster than before, making Screen Printing much less expensive to produce.
